Striking Difference owner, Brian Chilcutt started his bowling industry professional career in 1990. He has experienced every angle of the business from lane installer, pinsetter, lane maintenance, customer service and pro shop. In 1992, realizing his passion for helping people enjoy the game and advance in knowledge, he devoted himself to being a full time pro shop professional.
In May 2003 Brian and his wife, purchased the pro shop at Hawthorn Lanes renaming the shop Striking Difference, Inc..
He continues to stay on the cutting edge of the ever changing bowling technologies and trends. He has earned industry wide respect for his ability to match up the correct combinations of ball speed, rotation, ball layouts, ball surface and lane playing techniques for various conditions and style of customers he deals with on a daily basis.
He has now earned elite status as an instructor: one of only 29 in the
world -
USBC Coaching Gold Level Coach.
